Memorial Day.
A day met with mixed emotions in our home. For some it is a day of remembering those who have fallen, those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice for serving their country.
For others it might be a day off work, a celebration, or a time to barbecue.
Never forgotten.
Those words. May we never forget. May we always remember. Each Memorial Day, Sam remembers those who served with him but did not return home. And while we are reminded of this holiday to remember, there are certainly other days, other memorials, such as anniversaries and dates of missions that are also cause for pause and remembrance.
The names of some, not all listed below. Remember.
Charles Hill.
Dan Soit.
Joe Brzana.
Jay Allen.
Gavin Colburn.
Ben Smith.
Brian Romines.
And many, many more. May we always remember. May we always honor.
More than just a barbecue. More than sales at stores. More than days off.
