The past few weeks have been a bit overwhelming. We packed a house in a few short days, moved from one house to another, and closed on both houses in one day. Move in began as soon as closing ended.
Add in the news of a baby on the way, the end of the semester for me (and Sam), and the holidays and there’s some stress.
We also got news of one of Sam’s friends and colleagues being hospitalized and eventually passing after a fight.
This December has not felt like a December at all. Sam and I were just talking the other day about how it has been a little challenging to get into the holiday spirit and think about Christmas.
With all that has been going on, we are thankful. We are grateful and hopeful for what 2019 has to offer. We are blessed with our family and friends. We are thankful for the time we have spent with Dale. We are excited about a little one joining our family in 2019.
So, thank you. Thank you for reading, for sharing in our ups and downs, for your kind words, your messages, and for sharing your stories with us throughout this blog. We appreciate each and every one of you who read, share, and comment on our posts (via the blog or social media).
Thank you.
