I feel like a student again…
I’m counting down the days until Spring Break!
Today I told one of my classes that I would be attending a conference over break.
They stared at me like I had starting speaking in another language.
One students even asked, “are you joking?”
Nope. I’m serious.
Sam and I are heading to Kansas City, Missouri. We will be taking our camper and I will be attending the Conference on College Composition and Communication.
I’m presenting on the blog and life as a military spouse and caregiver. I’m so excited, honored, and thrilled to be working with some amazing individuals.
I’m counting the days.
But what we need to know are the “things to do” while we are there! What are some places to eat, places to see, the fun things!
We are most ready for a break. A mini-vacation if you will. Some time to relax and enjoy our camper.
