I’m so glad today is Friday. This has been a long week! We are enjoying summer, spending time with friends, but there’s also work. Long days!
Today I want to share a story with you all that has touched my heart. It really hit me in the feels. I saw this story and knew I had to share it.
Last weekend, I read a story about a childhood friend and her family. They were involved in a horrible traffic accident, and their daughter is fighting for her life.
I can’t imagine that.
Jacie is fighting. Her mom, Miranda, has so much love and support from all over, and she’s so brave to update everyone who is praying and sending good vibes via social media.
You can support them in many ways. Prayers work wonders! They can use them. You can also check out their Go Fund Me page here https://www.gofundme.com/help-josh-and-miranda
Another story that has moved me this week is that of Ernestine and Lee. Ernestine is a member of an online Caregiver community that I belong to as well. Caregivers of Wounded Warriors. As you know, the role of Caregiver can be challenging, and it can be a struggle.
Lee has had his ups and downs. His wife has been right beside him through everything. She shares their daily adventures, personal stories, and she gives hope. It’s not an easy road. She’s been faced with challenges, but she loves Lee with everything she has.
Lee’s dying wish is to talk to people and get some text messages. Their story had been shared and it’s so amazing to see people from all walks of life reach out.
You can send Lee a text, or give him a call.
Read part of their story here.

There are people in this world who are hurting. People who need our love, prayers, and people who just someone to call and say, “hi.”
This Friday I’ve been hit in the feels. I hope you can take a moment or two to think of these families. Say some prayers for them. Send them some good vibes/well wishes, and cherish every single moment you have with your loved ones.
